To fill my time between training classes and counseling sessions (I do live in a small town) I produce a variety of gourmet candies. Take the time to enjoy new and traditional treats and flavors. Gum drops made with real fruit juice. Truffles of cream and chocolate, dipped in real chocolate. Nuts coated in sugar and assorted spices. Looking for something even more traditional? Try some peanut brittle, divinity or English toffee. Chipotle truffles, pumpkin fudge and Thai caramels always score well with the more adventurous. Each small batch is prepared by hand.

I am committed to being green. For me, this means buying ingredients, materials, and packaging locally when ever I can. I use minimal packaging and seek out packaging that is recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable. It also means reducing the amount of trash I send to the landfill by creating products that produce little waste and by using any scraps in production of other items.
Looking for a non-edible gift? I make those too. Bookmarks, bracelets, barrettes, glass magnets, crochet baskets and lap blankets are just a few of the items I have to offer. I even have several items specifically for the non-human members of your household. Cat toys with my chemical free, homegrown catnip are always a hit.

My original background is animal care. I have a Bachelor's in Animal Science and over 25 years experience working with animals in animal shelters, rescues and veterinary clinics. During that time I've worked with over twenty thousand dogs and ten thousand cats. I use my background to help people modify the behavior of animals in their homes and to provide pet adoption counseling to those looking to add a pet to their lives.
